Rachelle Brady


Calgary-based artist, Rachelle Brady has a strong, bold presence on the canvas as she captures what she loves most; trees, landscapes and flowers.  Her primary method is oil on canvas through the use of highly textured palette knife work.

Rachelle’s work reveals an artist who is passionate about the world around her, and captures the emotion and essence of life on canvas, creating an original and exquisite body of work.

Rachelle is an avid traveler and outdoor enthusiast. With her husband and small son, she regularly hikes and explore the beautiful foothills and Rocky Mountains of Southern Alberta.  Some of their favourite areas include Waterton / Glacier Park, Kananaskis and Banff National Park in addition to Montana. 

This love of the outdoors and natural beauty has moved Rachelle to share these special places, capturing he emotion and impressions on canvas.  Fall is her favourite time of year and this is evident in the bold use of yellows, oranges and reds. 

Rachelle’s distinct flowers in bright and vivid colours to short creams, whites and pastels is found in her impressive talent to capture the essence of light and freedom.

Rachelle states, “My lifelong dream to be an artist has come true.  I love paining and being able to share my passion with others.  My inspiration comes from things I am drawn to and fell a connect with.  My paintings are designed to evoke emotion, radiate contentment and being happiness.  I want to share this with others and hope they feel the same.”

Each piece of Rachelle’s art is a unique story, a memory that is very clear to her.  This is what makes her work beautiful, stunning and fearless.
