 Elisabetta Fantone

Born and raised in Montreal, Quebec, Elisabetta has always demonstrated tremendous ability in all things creative. In her early career, Elisabetta’s passion for performance art has led her to excel in both modeling and acting; however, she was always drawn to visual arts.

Elisabetta attended Dawson College in Creative Arts where she played with colors, painted nudes and experimented with paints. Not satisfied, Elisabetta then obtained a Design degree at LaSalle College where found a profound passion for negative positive space, collages, faux-fini's and of course...paints. It is at this point in her life where her love for the arts developed into a strong talent for portraiture.

In her early adult life Elisabetta’s attraction to bright colors led her to experiment with acrylic, which became her medium of choice. It’s in 2006 that Elisabetta gained notoriety in the art world when she finally presented her first complete acrylic on canvas collection titled ‘Various Faces’. The collection was composed of 23 beautifully colored expressive abstract portraits. With their tremendous eyes and exaggerated lips, this collection of unknown faces was linked and brought to life with bright colored paint strokes that revealed nothing less than the profound beauty and sensuality of women.

Tremendously inspired by the Pop Art of the 50’s, 60’s & 70’s, Elisabetta launched her second art collection titled 'Blonde Icons' in 2008. The collection, 30 acrylic on canvas paintings finished with a thick layer of epoxy, depicted famous blondes ranging from music stars to movie stars.

Elisabetta has since presented several other collections and is now highly sought after among celebrities for her commissioned pieces.
