Wayne Leidenfrost
A photojournalist by profession, Wayne Leidenfrost thinks in black and white, highlights and shadows. This is an unexpected basis for the powerful, richly colored gardenscapes that he creates from his Vancouver studio. The result is sculptural; simultaneously wild and serene, aggressive, and tranquil. He mixes colors that he observes in his day to day interactions; able to re-create an exact hue that no one else may have seen.
Wayne Leidenfrost is an active painter, collected across North America.
