Lumila Kalinina

Ludmila was born in the Arkhangelsk, a city in Northern Russia.  She graduated from the State Arkhangelsk University in English and German. The next 5 years she studied in Moscow at the All-Union Scientific Art Restoration Center after in Grabar.
She started painting full-time at the age of 30 and became quite successful in her native Russia.

In 2003 she moved to Canada, making her home in Alberta. Ludmila's paintings can be found in numerous Calgary homes and businesses, as well as international collections
